They are 100% cotton tinder that have been pressure infused with a long burning beeswax and olive oil based formula. This gives them a low flash temperature and makes them very weather resistant. They are ideal for taking a spark from a firesteel and, being all natural, they are non toxic and eco friendly. If you light one end with a match or lighter it will burn for around 10 minutes but realistically if you are lighting it from a firesteel you will pull it apart a little to increase the surface area and you will get a good 3 minutes out of one.
